Chemical Ecology is the study of chemically-mediated interactions among organisms. At the interactions lab, we study interactions between plants, insects and parasitoids, natural enemies of herbivorous insects. We perform various analytical, behavioural and physiological experiments to answer these questions. We use different insect and plant models to study these topics. Our research is highly multi-disciplinary and has applications in pest management, sustainable agriculture and odour analysis.
